Black Sun
On the solstice, in the city of Tova, there will be a convergence—a total eclipse of the sun. A young man—blind, scarred, and otherworldly—must be there, no matter the cost. The captain of the ship hired to bring him to Tova is a Teek, a daughter of the sea, able to calm the waters with her song. The story that unfolds is one of old wars become new, of vengeance and of love, and of a god believed to be dead, now returned. The book is a page-turner, and a delightful release on the eve of our solstice.
